Senior Education Sales Representative Job DescriptionOrganization: Professional ServicesBusiness Area: Education ServicesThe Education Services organization combines a fast-paced demand generation engine together with a coordinated sales approach with VMware's extended sales team. You are responsible for driving incremental growth for the VMware sales organization of training services into VMware's Enterprise and Commercial customers. If you have the ambition to learn new technologies, drive revenue and deliver results, this may be the role for you.Role:The Education Sales Representative (ESR) is responsible for selling VMWare's training courses that support and enable VMware's products via telephone and face-to-face with the customers in our large Corporate and Commercial accounts. This is done by initiating high volume outbound calls to fill scheduled classes and by working with the wider VMware Sales Teams on larger deals directly via meetings and presentations. This person is accountable for prospecting opportunities, closing sales, and placing orders. The ESR is also responsible for delivering a positive customer experience using the VMware sales model while maximizing revenue and bookings generation. The ESR will partner closely with the VMW core field and specialist sales teams to drive the VMware sales strategy, increase training services sales as part of the project scope and/or post license sales.Job Responsibilities (not limited to):
Accountable for driving business, and meeting or exceeding quota goals, in an assigned territory.
Responsible for all duties from prospecting to closing accounts, direct or in partnership with the outside sales executives.
Prospect, generate, qualify and follow up on assigned leads.
Ability to communicate the business value.
Accurately forecast bookings and revenue on training services in accounts on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Articulate the full range of VMware training products and identify how these services align to customer needs.
Communicate technical, industry, and market facts to position VMware as a disruptive solution with customers.
Collaborate with colleagues, cross-functionally (Outside Sales Executive, SEs, Channel Partners, Marketing, etc), to support the sales strategy.
Maintain in-depth product, industry trend, and technical knowledge.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software or enterprise selling a plus.
